Control4 OS2 upgrade support in Canterbury

Control4 has announced that its OS2 platform and Intercom Anywhere app are being retired, with cloud services ending in November 2026.

What’s changing?

Control4 is phasing out support for the OS2 system and mobile apps. From late 2025, the apps will begin disappearing from the App Store and Google Play, and by November 2026, cloud services will shut down completely.

Your existing system will still work locally — things like lights, keypads, and touchscreens will continue to function — but you’ll lose access to:

• Remote control through the Control4 app

• Push notifications and alerts

• Intercom Anywhere on mobile devices
